Amanda Fielding is Director of Product Management at McGraw Hill, overseeing the Professional Medical Digital portfolio, focused on product strategy and business success. She has served many functions at McGraw Hill since starting with the company in 2012 – from support roles to editorial, before shifting her focus full-time to product management. She earned her Agile certification in 2019 and continued to complete Northwestern Kellogg’s Executive Education course in Product Strategy in 2020. The last two years, Amanda has focused on establishing a clear product strategy and standing up a functional product organization to help support McGraw Hill Professional’s shift to digital growth.

Anna Troise is the Chief Commercial Officer for the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, a non-profit medical association representing more than 38,000 orthopaedic surgeons and allied health professionals. Anna is responsible for the Academy’s publishing, live events, product development and industry sales team – having evolved the traditional Association education portfolio into an integrated offering of high-quality content that captures customers’ needs in a personalized, relevant manner. Anna is an energetic, effective leader who enjoys helping organizations deliver results through developing dynamic working environments that inspire change, rethink the status quo, solve problems, and, have fun. Prior to joining the Academy, Anna served as Vice President, Medical and Open Access Publishing at Wolters Kluwer where she managed the U.S., U.K. and European medical journal publishing program. Anna has a bachelor’s degree from Bates College and a master’s degree in business administration from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
Professor of Surgery and Associate Dean for Graduate Medical Education at Cooper Medical School, and Editor-in-Chief of the American Board of Surgery’s Surgical Council on Resident Education (SCORE)
Dr. Joshi serves as Associate Dean for Graduate Medical Education and Professor of Surgery at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University in Camden, NJ. Until 2021, he was the residency Program Director and Vice-Chair for Academic Affairs for the Department of Surgery at Einstein Healthcare Network in Philadelphia. He is a 2022 awardee of the ACGME’s Parker J. Palmer “Courage to Teach” Award for Program Director Excellence. At Brown University’s 8-year Program in Liberal Medical Education, he received his BA in Music in 1997 and MD (with academic distinction) in 2001. He completed his surgical residency at New York Presbyterian/Cornell and fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at North Shore/Long Island Jewish Hospitals. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery. His clinical interests include general surgery with a focus on hernia repairs. His principal research interests are resident recruitment and curricular development within surgical training. He has authored over 150 scientific manuscripts and presentations.

As Chief Business Development Officer, Jake Zarnegar works directly with scientific and scholarly publishers to explore new partnerships and find the best alignment of Silverchair’s complementary suite of technologies and services with each publisher’s digital product strategy. A 20+ year industry veteran, Jake is a frequent speaker at SSP, ALPSP, and STM events covering emerging topics at the intersection of technology and scholarly publishing.
Senior Consultant, Clarke & Esposito
Laura Ricci is a Senior Consultant at Clarke & Esposito, a management consulting firm focused on strategic issues in professional and academic publishing. In this role Laura supports a wide range of publisher and library clients, including not-for-profit societies and other professional organizations with strong publishing and education programs. Prior to joining C&E, Laura served as Senior Product Manager of Partnerships, eBooks for EBSCO Information Services, and as Senior Market Analyst for Education & Training and STM at Outsell. Laura began her career in education publishing with Houghton Mifflin and Pearson Education’s custom textbook division. Laura has previously served on the Society for Scholarly Publishing Board of Directors and as co-chair of the SSP Annual Meeting. She holds a master’s degree in International Publishing from Oxford Brookes University and a bachelor’s degree from University of Notre Dame.
